ADVENT QUIET DAY

The Mary Magdalene Chapter of the Daughters of the King at SSSJ will host a quiet day of prayer on Saturday, December 12, 2009.  The Quiet Day will be led by Reverend William Anderson, Priest in Residence (retired) at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Columbia.

The day begins with a continental breakfast at 8:30 am, followed by a brief program on the role and election of a Bishop, three periods of quiet meditation and prayer, with an opportunity for individual prayer with Father Anderson, time for reading and reflection, a luncheon and the celebration of Holy Eucharist at 2:00 pm.
